1. Custom Orders:
Be aware that your custom corset is built entirely based on the measurements that you provide. If your measurements are incorrect, your corset will not fit properly. We will not provide returns, exchanges or refunds in this instance. All custom corsets require a deposit before we start construction on your order.
2. Deposits for Custom Orders:
All custom orders require a deposit unless otherwise stated by Betty Galore Corsetry. The deposit must be received before the fitting appointment/initial pattern draft. Missed appointments (without notification) will result in the loss of your deposit. If you cancel the order after the beginning of construction, it will also result in the loss of your deposit.
3. Returns/Refunds/Exchanges:
If your corset arrives damaged or there is a fitting issue, you will have 30 days to contact us to arrange for a return/exchange. Otherwise, custom orders are not eligible for return/exchange. If there is an issue with your custom order, please contact us within 30 days and we will determine a solution based on the particular circumstance. Any corset that has been worn, or is damaged or stained will not be eligible for return/exchange.
3. Liability:
BGC is not liable for any damages incurred after the client receives the item.
BGC is not liable for any bodily damages incurred from wearing your corset. If your item is purchased from stock, it is your responsibility to choose a size closest to your own measurements. If the item is custom fit, the client is responsible for providing accurate measurements and sufficient notice if there are changes to these measurements.
4. Taxes:
All orders are subject to 5% GST. International orders may be subject to additional duties depending on the regulations of your country.
5. Payment:
For on line orders, the item (s) will be shipped within two business days of the completion of payment. In-studio orders will receive notification of completion via email and the client will have ten days to complete payment. After such time, you will lose your deposit and your corset will be resold as stock or destroyed.
